Paglu is a mainstream Bengali film that has been inspired by YS Chowdary`s Telugu hit, titled Devadasu. The film revolves around an NRI girl and a boy from Kolkata. The NRI girl who comes to Kolkata to learn Indian music ends up falling in love with the boy.
